Hi, I’m Henry. I’m 19, and a 2nd year undergraduate student at UNSW in Sydney. Next semester (September 2015), I will be an exchange student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Why Hong Kong? I’ve always wanted to go, and as a melting pot of Western and Eastern cultures1, it seems like a fun place to spend half a year.

There are practical reasons as well, which sweetened the pot, including affordability and Asia’s growing economic prominence.

I plan to post at least once a fortnight.

  1. I’m an Australian born Chinese. I know Mandarin, but not Cantonese, which might present a challenge. I hope to pick up some Cantonese while there. ↩
